Year 2; Stepping into my second year of polytechnic education.

MY OHANA (not the entire squad though)
Today marks my second academic year in RP, which also means that I am left with another academic year before I can attain my Diploma. Today also marks a brand new phase in my life, where I am starting anew. A better me, a healthier me. No more crying spells and being obligated.
As RP's system requires a change of class every semester, I had to enter a new classroom with new classmates. With my positive energy, it really felt good entering class although I only knew a handful of them whom were from my previous classes but thank god, I had Aidil and Farhan in the same class. Two of the bunch who were my everything and still since the first semester.
On my first of day school in poly, I never thought I'll meet people who would eventually make me family. They made me look forward to coming to school everyday. I expected my life in poly to be different but they made it all seem like I made the right choice in selecting my next phase in life. In sickness and hunger, they never left my side.
I had sad days, happy days, they made both much better. They were really a family in school whom I could spend almost the entire weekday with them without complaining. We were all so attached that it became difficult for me to accept it that we are all going to be in different classes from the second semester onwards but what comforted me was that we will still stick through no matter what.
I was not too wrong as it is already the third semester we are conquering and we are all still in contact, some of us close and some not as there are a few whom got caught up with their own commitments but well, that happens right?
I am just glad that I can still, hug, smile and say a "hey!" when I see anyone of them around.
Today, we surprised Terine who celebrated her birthday few days ago with a cake and her favourite iced coffee! It was so nice to see our girl so happy and of course spending some time with them after so long made a great great start to the new academic year.
EXPLAINS THE WIDE SMILE ON MY FACE!
Lots of love,
